Comprehensive Talent Acquisition and Recruitment Solutions with Netflix

The Challenge

Netflix sought to strengthen its talent strategy by expanding access to broader networks and building consistent and scalable approaches to identifying and engaging high-potential talent. The company needed a more structured model to support long-term pipeline development and align recruiting efforts with its evolving business priorities.

The Tactics

Yardstick Institute powered by DSG Consulting partnered with Netflix to design and execute a series of curated executive convenings, bringing together senior leaders for candid dialogue on leadership, talent, and the evolving expectations of the C-suite during a period of significant disruption. Working closely with Netflix, the team identified timely themes and curated keynote speakers to challenge perspectives and drive meaningful conversation across industries. Leveraging its extensive network, the Institute assembled a targeted group of C-suite leaders, SVPs, and senior executives, creating a high-impact forum for connection and insight.

Through its expansive leadership network, DSG curated a group of C-suite executives, SVPs, and senior leaders representing a broad range of backgrounds and perspectives, and managed all event logistics and execution for the Re-Write Dinners, as well as additional smaller gatherings and mixers designed to expand executive connectivity and access to leadership talent.

In parallel, DSG Consulting managed end-to-end event strategy and execution, including participant curation and logistics, while extending the effort through smaller, more intimate gatherings designed to deepen relationships and expand access to senior leadership talent. Alongside these convenings, DSG Global supported Netflix’s executive search efforts, identifying and engaging high-caliber candidates and contributing to multiple senior-level placements that strengthened the company’s leadership pipeline.

The Results

The engagement resulted in a more structured and scalable approach to leadership pipeline development at Netflix, supported by in-depth market mapping and curated executive lists to support strategic hiring and partnership development. DSG introduced a set high caliber candidates for senior roles enabling a more focused approach to building teams.

The firm’s advisory work also contributed to Netflix’s historic $100 million investment in Black-owned banks. The work continues to enhance Netflix’s ability to attract and retain senior leaders aligned with its long-term priorities and evolving business needs.
