Kevin & Britney Bongang
Britney Bongang is an art representative, project manager, and paint assistant. She was born in Junction City, Kansas and grew up in Savannah, Georgia where she attended Savannah Arts Academy and met her husband, Kevin Bongang. She manages and represents Kevin, who is a full-time freelance muralist and graphic designer. Her parents are both U.S. Army retired and that military lifestyle sparked her love for exploration and service to humanity.
Britney began her career in administrative support and project management while serving as a legal assistant for the U.S. Department of Justice, Atlanta Immigration Court in Atlanta, Georgia before relocating to Nashville, Tennessee. While in Nashville, she served as the Executive Assistant to the State Director of Forensics and Juvenile Court Services. It was there that she honed in on her passion for art programming and education as she served as chair for the Tennessee Department of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Wellness Council where she began to incorporate artistic expression, mindfulness, and art therapy into corporate wellness.
Britney and Kevin hope to continue to encourage positive expression and exploration of all art disciplines within individuals of all ages.
Artist Kevin Bongang is a man of many talents and few words, rather choosing to allow his art to speak for itself. Born in Cameroon, West Africa and raised in Savannah, Georgia, the Brunswick, Georgia resident majored in Illustration at the Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD, Atlanta). He acquired his B.F.A. and M.F.A. (Illustration) in 2009 and 2013, respectively. There, he was able to home in on his signature style awash in bold fun colors, swirling lines and whimsical imagery. The result is organic, functional and cohesive pieces of art on both traditional and non-traditional surfaces.
These days you can find him painting murals, creating graphics for commercial brands and engaging in his local community and communities all over that he loves. Kevin works to put smiles on people’s faces, brighten children’s days, and send simple but powerful messages in the name of peace, encouragement, and positivity.
He is married to his high school sweetheart, Britney, who also serves as his art representative, paint assistant and project manager.
His commercial portfolio includes (but is not limited to) clients such as PepsiCo. (Mountain Dew®), MLS (Major League Soccer), Heineken, Facebook, Adobe, Shake Shack, Jamba Juice, Country Music Association, Bonnaroo Music Festival, Marriott International Hotels, Spanx, Next Door American Eatery, and TPA Group and Time Equities, Inc.
His community portfolio includes (but is not limited to) The Boys and Girls Club of Southeast GA (Brunswick, GA), the Glynn County School System (Brunswick, GA), the Toledo Ohio Public School System (Toledo, OH), Artworks Cincinnati (Cincinnati, OH) ProMedica (Toledo, OH), the Savannah-Chatham County Public School System (Savannah, GA), and Hope 1312 Collective (Brunswick, GA). His work can be found all over the United States and in Japan, Canada, and China.
