Matthew and Tia Raiford

Matthew and Tia Raiford are the founders of Strong Roots 9, an inclusive collective of talented BIPOC farmers, growers, chefs and naturalists who are dedicated to pioneering a return to the holistic practices of their forefathers. They strive to help their diverse community regain their connection to nature through the creation of products and safe spaces that value agriculture and equality at their core. As Chefs and graduates of The Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, NY, both have a passion for culture, food, and restoring the mind-body-spirit connection to natural roots.
